Carry your identity through the outer box, sleeve, insert and greeting rather than assuming a manufacturer’s product can be altered.

The fit matters as much as the artwork. Confirm the exact retail box, included accessories, space for instructions and the way the recipient opens the set. A proposal image can show a direction; approve the physical packaging dimensions and finish before treating that direction as the production specification.

When does product personalisation add more value?

A named leather folio or a considered desk object can feel more personal than a large external logo. The surface, finish and product construction determine which decoration methods can be proposed. Prepare Arabic and English names in their final form. Check direction, spacing, titles and spelling in a proof, then inspect the result on the actual material. A digitally approved layout does not by itself confirm the appearance of engraving or embossing.

When should you develop an original gift?

Choose original manufacturing when the shape or material needs to express a company milestone, architectural idea or identity. Allow a planning window of around 3–4 months as a starting point for an original piece. The actual sequence depends on design work, prototypes, any tooling, inspection and transport. For a close event, compare an established product with a simpler presentation route before committing to a new form.

What should a complete brief contain?

Separate the people receiving the gift from the people approving it. A project can have one visual identity and several product levels for employees, clients and VIPs. Keep the recipient experience coherent while agreeing the quantity and packaging of each level separately.

• Preferred products or intended use, brand artwork and Arabic/English text.
